Solar Power Projects

Frey Electric finished a 5kW residential solar installation in Lockport, NY.  The installation was done in cooperation with Earthsponse Energy Corp. and was successfully completed in two days.

A total of 6,300 square feet of photovoltaic (PV) panels have been installed on the roof of Norton Hall at SUNY@Buffalo Amherst Campus by Frey Electric's NYSERDA Eligible Installer, Ray Szopinski. This project is the largest solar array on any building in Western New York.

This system produces enough power to light 735 100-watt light bulbs, about six percent of the building's annual electrical power consumption, or the equivalent of the annual electrical requirements of 10 average Western New York households.
